Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro: Extruder Clicking & Filament Skipping
Extruder clicking and filament stripping indicate excessive resistance in the path. The most probable cause (65-75%) is a Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro Nozzle clogged with debris or carbonized filament; replace it. Less probable (15-20%) is Heat Creep: the filament softens prematurely in the Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro Heat Break due to insufficient cooling. Also check the extruder tension (5-10%), if too loose the gear slips, or the Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro Extruder Gear itself for wear (Low probability). This often happens after long prints.
