   • Key signs: Capacitor visibly bulging or leaking on the main board TP.S506.P. This is the most probable fault and often the first to identify.
   • Why: A degraded capacitor does not filter the voltage correctly, destabilizing the power supply to the LED driver and preventing its proper functioning, even if a partial voltage (40V) may be present.
   • Real-world micro-case: "Often, in TVs of this range, the EB105 capacitor is the weak point. I have seen it bulging many times, and its replacement immediately restored the backlight."

2. Damaged backlight LED strips: 20-25%

   • Key signs: Voltage from the driver is present but no LEDs light up, even after checking board components. A burnt-out LED in series interrupts the entire circuit.
   • Counter-example: If the EB105 capacitor is visibly bulging, the probability of a primary fault in the LED strips drastically decreases, but cannot be completely ruled out.

3. Defective Schottky diode MURB1040CT (DB801) or MOSFET (QB801): 5-10%

   • Key signs: Components that may have been stressed or damaged in cascade by the defective capacitor, causing an interruption or inefficiency in the driver circuit.
   • Dependency: Their malfunction is often a consequence of the instability created by the capacitor.

Operational Decision:

• Repair yourself: If you have experience with soldering on SMD boards and a multimeter, you can try to replace the Electrolytic capacitor for Haier LE28F6600C TV. The cost of the spare part is low (a few euros).
• Contact a technician: Strongly recommended if you lack experience or tools. The diagnosis is clear, and capacitor repair is standard. The technician will also check other components (diode, MOSFET) and LED strips.
