Creaking or metallic noises (clunking) from the Propel Endeavor 4GT's suspensions indicate mechanical wear or contamination.

The most probable cause (45%) is the ovalization of the upper eyelets of the rear shock absorbers. This generates a dry metallic "clunk," accentuated on bumps or with load variations. The mounting angle of the rear shock absorbers is a known factor that promotes such wear. Resolution requires a technical inspection to evaluate the replacement of Propel Endeavor electric skateboard shock absorbers or Skateboard suspension bushings.

If the skateboard suspension bushings are noisy or deformed, replacement with components made of more resistant materials like Delrin can permanently eliminate the annoying mechanical play. This intervention prevents worse damage to the suspension's control arms.
