PHASE 1: Preliminary User Diagnosis (External)

This phase aims to identify symptoms and the likelihood of causes without opening the device.

1. External Visual Inspection (Quick):
   • Carefully check the plastic around the hinge (both on the screen side and the base) for cracks, stress whitening, or deformation. Use a direct light source.
   • Verify if the screen is perfectly aligned with the base when the console is closed. Slight misalignment indicates internal structural failure.

2. Hinge Movement Test:

PHASE 2: Technical Intervention (Internal)

1. Preparation and Safety:

   • Battery disconnection: Before touching any internal components, open the back cover and immediately disconnect the lithium battery connector to prevent accidental short circuits.
