The Silence S04 does not recognize the removable battery, preventing charging or use. The error indicates a contact or communication problem in the dock.

TECHNICAL CHECKLIST

The battery is sometimes recognized after being moved. * Why: Oxidation or debris prevents current and communication signals from passing between the battery and the vehicle. * Counter-example: If the contacts are visibly clean and shiny, the cause is less likely. * This often happens when the vehicle is left outdoors or in unprotected environments; humidity and dust easily settle on exposed contacts.

2. Vehicle Charging Dock Module failure (30%): * Signs: Battery contacts are perfect, but the vehicle does not recognize it. No sign of life from the charging system. There may be specific error codes on the vehicle's display (if present). * Why: Internal components of the dock (electronic board, wiring) are damaged, preventing power management or communication with the battery's BMS. * Verification: Requires specific diagnostics with manufacturer tools to test the dock circuits.

3. Battery Management System (BMS) malfunction (20%): * Signs: The battery is not recognized despite contacts and dock appearing intact. The battery may show other symptoms such as reduced autonomy or abnormal overheating. * Why: The BMS, responsible for battery communication and protection, is faulty and does not respond to vehicle requests. * Verification: Requires specific diagnostic software to query the battery's BMS.

4. Minor or Concurrent Causes (10%): * Examples: Damaged internal vehicle wiring, faulty or misaligned battery lock sensors, vehicle software issues (raro for recognition alone). * Why: Every component in the recognition chain must function. A single weak link can block everything.
